Ann Brain paints in a distinctive style which conveys a sense of mystery through images of the natural world. Her oil paintings remain in the mind's eye long after other, blander images are forgotten. Now nine times a Royal Academy exhibitor,her paintings hang in collections in the UK, Europe and America. 'Art is a mysterious business. I try to look at the world through innocent eyes and paint from the heart, and I hope that people will approach my work with similarly open eyes and minds.' |
